Maryanne Waite Gipson entered into eternity on September 6, 2026. She was born to Evelyn and Thomas Waite in Sacramento, California, in June 1934. Throughout her life, Maryanne was dedicated to education, social services, health care, and community services in California, Nevada, Maryland, and Washington. She was an avid reader, gardener, and friend to many, a devoted mother and wife. Her husband, Patrick, of 55 years, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving children Paul, Mark, Catherine, Rosemary, and Anne, as well as 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, her brother, Thomas, and his four children.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 760 Aloha Street, Edmonds, Washington.
Maryanne requests in Christian charity that you pray for the repose of her immortal soul.
