Sharon Elizabeth Blossey, of Edmonds, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024. She’s now at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sharon grew up in San Francisco as the eldest daughter of Roy and Erma Herling. She moved to Edmonds during her high school years and built deep ties into the community here.

After school, she worked at Pacific Northwest Bell, where she met her husband Jeff (passed November 2021). They married in 1964 and built a life together that spanned 57 years, full of travel, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Sharon enjoyed gardening and her beautiful yard, being with her friends, and spending time telling stories and connecting. She loved finding treasures, beachcombing for sea glass, and absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking them on many adventures! She loved history, genealogy and was the family storykeeper.

She is survived by her daughter Shawn (Sean); grandchildren Sidney and Mac; brother Rod (Dres); sister Carolyn (Brian); and nieces and nephews.

We miss so much about Sharon, who was vibrant, and full of love, life and stories. She was deeply loved by many.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held in early September.
